comiccoverWell, the title sounds good, but actually the comic novel of the Duke University is much more. It explores the copyright law in an entertaining yet very informing way. So if you create music, , books etc. learn how to protect your rights. And learn how to use (or not!) other people’s work respecting their rights. Very recommended!

Lunette.gifThe Frankfurt Institute of Management - www.FIM-Jakarta.com - can be reached from now on under www.MrTJakarta.com as well. We are not renaming the institute but just make it more convenient for our visitors to remember the site’s URL. For many of them “Mr. T” is almost a sort of a trademark since students remember their lecturer’s nickname. Maybe next time we make “Mr. T” a mascot - any suggestions of how this mascot should look like?

“On-campus users quadruple”, titles the PRINCETONIAN.

princeton.jpg

This year, the University’s Student Computer Initiative has sold more Macs than PCs. Students were offered a selection of Dell, IBM and Apple computers, and 60 percent chose Macs, up from 45 percent last year.

This seems not only to happen at Princeton University:

Princeton is not the only campus where use is on the rise. At a recent college technology conference, Shahbender found that sales also had significantly increased at MIT, Columbia, Dartmouth, Penn, Duke, Stanford, Cornell and Brown over the past few years.
