Blogging is fun and a great way to express oneself, at least some million people do it already. But when you want to publish a new article (aka ‘post’) you have to log in to your website to write and save what you want to publish. Which is sometimes rather annoying, considering the slow internet connections. A far better way to accomplish this is using an offline blogging software which allows you to write articles, add pictures and links offline and publish it with a simple click on a button all together when you are connected. This is what w.bloggar is good for. And it is for free (PC), and it is in Bahasa Indonesia. Happy bloggaring!

Where can we buy this camera? It is Panasonic Lumix LX 3. A new model of these tiny little digital wonders. This one has a nice accessory, an optical viewfinder (Click on the picture to see the details.), which can be attached to the flash hot shoe on top of the camera body. And this is what we are looking to get as well! It would be even nicer, if the leather (?) camera bag as shown on the picture would be available. It’s been a while since I have written anything, except my last iPod report (please wish me the best of luck! LOL). Not only that I haven’t reviewed any movies, I haven’t even watched any Asian drama! My last holiday was filled with socializing stuff and doing my job as a press relations officer for Ikatan Koko Cici upcoming event, Chinese New Year. Actually this is the second time for me, being a press relations officer for Koko-Cici’s event. I love doing this of job, because I think I can carry out what I have learned into practical actions. This is challenging and exciting to meet new people such journalists and reporters from any media.

This is a used analogue (!) camera body but in good overall condition. Used by world renowned photographers such as James Nachtwey and many more (this one just used by me …). To make it just very clear, this is not a digital camera. For the digital photog it might be used for a backup or for producing fine art photography of the ‘old style’. “Santa Claus, Santa Claus, I want an iPod for this Christmas”. And finally my wish was granted on January 5, 2009. It took a while for the iPod to land on my hand, maybe because of the shipping process from The North Pole or, let’s forget it and go straight to my review.

When I clutched the iPod in my grip, I suddenly thought, “No wonder everybody is drooling for this gadget. It is very cute, yet handy and sophisticated”. I am glad that the iPod was green as, according to a leading fashion magazine, the color is truly hot this year. The keypad was very soft. You can simply touch and turn your finger on it to move the cursor. It was very sensitive, so there was a keypad lock provided at the top.

After I had reached home, I straightly went to connect the iPod to my PC. When it is connected to PC, the battery is charged automatically. So you don’t need to spend more hours to shut it down and charge. Frankly speaking, I was unacquainted to this gadget. But I have downloaded an iTunes before, so the songs in my music library could be uploaded immediately, as the music format was already matched to the iTunes format. When I want to download another song, I can download from 4shared website for free. Then the newly downloaded songs will be automatically added to iTunes.

Meneruskan tradisi pameran buku-buku fotografi Deutscher Fotobuchpreis yang telah dimulai 2008 lalu, tahun ini Goethe-Institut Indonesia kembali menggelar pameran serupa untuk tahun kompetisi 2008, Deutscher Fotobuchpreis 2008.

Pada Senin, 12 Januari 2009, pukul 19.00 WIB pameran akan dibuka oleh Johannes Scherer, perwakilan dari Landesverband Baden-Württemberg des Börsenvereins für den Deutschen Buchhandel (Asosiasi Pengusaha Retail, Distributor dan Penerbit Buku Jerman, Kantor Negara Bagian Baden-Württemberg).
