Garfield teaches to draw comics
Filed Under New | Leave a Comment
Actually it’s his creator, Jim Davis, who teaches how to draw comics in 15 short videos (podcasts). This program by the Virginia Department of Education in collaboration with Paws, Inc, the creative studio for Garfield is made for children as well as for adult beginners. At the Professor Garfield Foundation children learn how to draw action and superheros and even dinosaurs (scary!).
At iTunes U all videos ‘Introduction to Comics” can be downloaded. Maybe someone can draw Mr.T. as a comic hero?
You need iTunes (free for Mac and PC) to access iTunes U.

Make your own Harry Potter moving pictures
Filed Under New | Leave a Comment
I saw Harry Potter’s latest adventure yesterday evening. I just don’t remember what exactly it was about, because I dozed away. But I do remember the cute little dragon who grilled some chestnuts and I wished he could work in my kitchen. And then the moving pictures all around in the castles and in the newspapers. Well, this is not such a huge magic trick to do it yourself. Give it a try on a long weekend. Here is the tutorial on Photojojo! for you wizards but don’t get horcruxed.

Friday night and you want to start a great weekend?
Wanna listen to great rockin’ music? Like to be with friends who like to have a talk and not just a forgettable blah-blah?
Don’t go anywhere else, come to Sudirman Park on Friday 24th and join the best of Jakarta: music, friends, talk and laughter.
And the best is yet to tell: while you have a great evening, you help children in need with your small entrance fee (we don’t mind if you give more
).
You will never feel better starting your weekend! Take our word for this, we’re waiting for you!

What a long journey watching this drama *sigh*!
Sorry, but I have to say that this drama is nothing but nonsense! It looks more like a soap opera, since the places they take for this long-episode drama are only a few and the settings are decorated very simple. The story line is also a bit difficult to understand as they use so many jargons (like in Harry Potter). However if you can speak Mandarin, it would be easier for you to understand the meanings of the jargons.
