vocalex.jpgThis is what the company says about Vocalex:

Vocalex English is a program available for both and for those of you who wish to expand your vocabulary in English. With the help of Vocalex you can quickly and easily learn new words for your daily life. Vocalex English works as a digital dictionary, written entirely in English, where the words are explained by way of illustrations instead of translations.

Vocalex English contains over 1600 words and illustrations with voice recordings showing correct pronunciation, where all words are presented by teachers working in their native language. Vocalex offers a superb way of learning new words by way of 10 different exercise types where repetition is all important. Vocalex can be used either by those of you who are fluent in the target language or for beginners as a complement to other forms of learning.

You can save your results to track your progress or to easily revise target vocabulary by creating your own user name. In addition, Vocalex reminds you after a certain time to revise vocabulary you learnt earlier. Thanks to the fact that there are no translations, learning takes place in a more authentic way meaning you remember more of what you learn.

A Demo can be downloaded for free, the program is priced EUR 12,00 (about 180.000 IDR).
