Frankfurt Institute for Management offers German certificate for courses in marketing and general management
Students, executives or professionals who seek to add a German certificate of marketing-qualifications to their resumés don’t have to travel to Germany anymore to do so. The Frankfurt Institute for Management (FIM) offers courses in the field of marketing right here in Jakarta, which leads to an examination of the Westdeutsche Akademie fuer Kommunikation (WAK, Western Germany Academy for Communication) in Cologne, Germany. Participants of the courses, which are entirely held in English, benefit from the reputation of the German academy. The WAK institute provides education in the field of marketing communication and leads students to a degree as a “Kommunikationswirt” (Master of Communication) which is accredited by the German Chamber of Commerce and acknowledged by the German government. Well known companies, Allianz, Grey advertising, Siemens, to name a few, are sponsoring members of the school and many graduates find a job or an internship within these companies. Even FIM-Jakarta is not offering the full Master degree, “We are excited to be able to offer seminars in Jakarta which fulfill our high standards of vocational education. We are certain, Indonesian attendants will enjoy the courses as much as they will benefit from it,” says Prof.Dr. Ulrich Stangl, the dean of the German Academy. First courses will start in April. WAK liefert Fachwissen nach Indonesien
Studenten erwerben Marketing-Zertifikat nach deutschem Standard
Koeln/Jakarta. Die WAK – Westdeutsche Akademie fuer Kommunikation e.V. in Koeln kooperiert ab sofort mit dem Frankfurt Institute of Management (FIM) in Jakarta, Indonesien. So bietet die Koelner Marketingfachschule den Studenten
des suedostasiatischen Landes die Moeglichkeit, ein WAK-Zertifikat nach erfolgreich absolvierter Pruefung zu erwerben. Das Fachwissen der WAK-Dozenten wird in Form von didaktisch aufbereiteten Lehrinhalten, Uebungsaufgaben und Literaturhinweisen nach Jarkata geliefert. Anschließend werden die Klausurergebnisse von den Koelner Dozenten korrigiert und bewertet. „Die Studierenden in Jakarta bekommen durch die Kooperation nicht nur die Moeglichkeit, ein wissenschaftliches Studium nach deutschem Qualitaetsstandard zu absolvieren, sie erhalten außerdem eine berufliche Perspektive“, erklaert WAK-Akademieleiter Prof. Ulrich Stangl das Engagement.
